I woke recently with the word ‘resurgence’ coming strongly into my mind. One dictionary defines this term as “an increase or revival after a period of little activity, popularity, or occurrence.” May we see a resurgence of the activity of the Holy Spirit in and through us, the recognition and testimony of Jesus in our land, and many occurrences of the Father at work in wonderful ways.
In the upper room, which was kind of like the first Apostolic Base Camp, the believers were devoted to praying, waiting in expectation, and then filled with the Spirit and released in power, signs and wonders that led to a great increase as many became disciples of Jesus.
As we move into spring we are moving into a resurgence with equipping times in intercessory prayer, and healing, signs, and wonders. As we develop and practice these may we see a similar increase of the Spirit being poured out to great effect.
We are raising our expectation in the Lord, not giving in to the fear of disappointment, but fully embracing all He is doing and will do. On 21st – 22nd March we gather to ‘Raise the Bar’ and hope that you can join us for this most significant time (details on our events page).
